1957
Vocational School and Supplimentary School, including three classes each in high school and junior middle school, were allowed to be established by the Department of Education Provincial Government of Taiwan, and was named as Ping Rong Commerce School.
1968
To match the government’s policy of obligatory education, the school abolished the junior middle school, but added the technology section, including the Department of Electronic Equipment, Department of Architecture, Department of Chemical Analysis, and at the same time, kept the Department of Commerce.
The school name was changed to Ping Rong Vocational School of Commerce and Technology, Ping Tung County, and kept the subsidiary organization of the Supplimentary School (night school).
1970
Students in the Junior Middle School graduated, and the school name was changed to Ping Rong Vocational High School of Commerce and Technology, Ping Tung County, Taiwan Province, and kept the ancillary organization of the supplementary school( night school) of commerce and technology,
1974
The Department of Commerce was divided into the Department of Comprehensive Business、the Department of Accounting and Statistics and the Department of International Trade Affairs.
The Department of Chemical Analysis was changed into the Department of Chemical Engineering.
1986
The Department of Electronic Equipment was changed into the Department of Electronics.
1988
The Department of Computer Science was added , and at the same time, changed the Department of Comprehensive Business into the Department of Business Affairs, and changed the Department of Accounting and Statistics into the Department of Accounting Affairs and changed the Department of Trade Affairs into the Department International Trade.
1989
Department of Data Processing was added.
1990
Department of Applied Foreign Language-Japanese Program was added..
1999
The Department of Chemical Analysis and the Department of Accounting Affairs
were cancelled.
2000
The Department of General Study and the Department of Restaurant Management were added.
The Department of Architecture was changed into Department of Interior Design.
The Supplimentary School (night school) of Commerce and Technology was changed into the Continuation School (night school) of Commerce and Technology.
2001
A Special education Program and the comprehensive high school program were added. The Department of Business Affairs and Department of Interior Design were cancelled..
2002
The department of Childhood Education was added.
2004
The school was reorganized from Ping Rong Vocational School of Commerce and Technology into Ping Rong High School.
2005
The school established Ping Rong Kindergarten, a subsidiary.
2007
The Special Education Program was cancelled.
2010
The comprehensive high school program was cancelled.
